Organic Farmer's Market (Paris, France)

Before leaving Paris to the South of France. We decided to stop by a very rare Farmer's market in the 6th arrondissment. It is located next to the metro Rennes and Boulevard Raspail. The market sells mostly organic vegetables, fruits, breads, cheeses, etc.

The metro Rennes station.

The beautiful and colourful seasonal organic fruits and vegetables.

Organic beef, pork, sausages, etc.

Organic pastries...they really looked yummy.

Organic breads. I wanted to eat them all!!!

Organically grown roses. Very beautiful.

Organic cheeses. They all looked amazing.

Seafood that looked like they were just picked out of the ocean.

Organic goat cheeses. So many, that we did not know which ones to take with us.

Organic, scones, muffins, brownies, cookies and English muffins. I could not resist buying an apricot muffin to nibble on and we bought 6 English muffins to take with us to the south of France.

The weather was a cold & gray. But, the atmosphere of the market was lively & energetic of sellers and buyers chit chatting. There was also a jazz quartet singing and playing their instruments that added another lively aspect to this great market. The market is only on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Sundays. The prices seem a bit high compared to other markets or the market next to our place in the 17th arrondissement. However; it is the 6th arrondissement after all; very hi-so. But it is so worth the visit. You will not be able to resist the smells and sights of all the wonderful organic produce and products.

Plus it's Organic! Worth every cent - it's my favorite market, I go every Sunday. It's actually called the Marché Biologique Raspail... great photos!
