Square One at Park Hyatt Saigon I (Saigon, Vietnam)

One of my all time favourite restaurants in Saigon. It is Square One at the Park Hyatt Saigon. We discovered it the last time we stayed in the Park Hyatt Saigon. The Hyatt group has amazing food & beverage concepts and designs. We are already fans of the restaurant 'Mezza9' & 'Straights Kitchen' in the Grand Hyatt Singapore. Amazing concepts and to top it off; fantastic food.


The Square One concept is that there are 5 open kitchens (I think) where each kitchen does different types of foods. Its great to watch all the action in all the kitchens when you are dinning. There is always a sense of energy and fun in the atmosphere.


The restaurant is very long with sitting bars at each open kitchen for those who really want to eat and watch the action. The decor is so beautiful; modern Vietnamese design. The colours that are pronounce are reds, oranges, browns and blacks. The core of the design materials are woods & metals. The whole combination is stunning.

If you are ever in Saigon; this restaurant should be on your list of things to try.
