Evason Breakfast (Phuket)

After a successful evening with Alain Chabanon's wine tasting dinner. We had breakfast the next day at Evason's breakfast terrace. A stunning view of the sea greets you when you enter to have breakfast. We were seated at the edge of the restaurant to have the best view possible.

The terrace is large and has no walls. Its a beautiful open space. It does get hot because of the tropical weather but you forget about the heat when you see the view.

It was a beautiful buffet breakfast. The terrace had everything you could ever want to eat for breakfast. It offered western foods such as pancakes, french toast, bacon, sausage, freshly made omelettes, etc., etc. There was of course Asian foods as well from dim-sum, khao-tom, bamee, etc., etc.

The food was separated into different areas of the restaurant. The photo above was the pastry area; fresh croissants, pastries and breads. Even fresh honey, from a honey comb with swarms of bees.

The next area was the bamee & khao-tom area. I always liked eating khao-tom for breakfast. It is light for breakfast and has carbohydrates from rice and protein from the pork. Very tasty.

The next area was the dim-sum area and other Asian specialties.

The next area was the fruit area. The fresh juices were near by as well. You had about 8 fresh juices to choose from, such as pineapple, orange, guava, watermelon, pomelo, carrot, etc. I do love fresh juices in the morning.

The breakfast was wonderful at Evason. The view was awesome. After the breakfast, we headed to the dock to catch the Evason boat to take us to their private island for swimming. What a life.

Evason Resort is unique in that that they have their own island, where is the water is crystal clear and the beach is paradise.

We only had one hour to enjoy the island because we needed to catch a van that was going to take us to the other side of Phuket island, where we were going to catch the speed boat of Six Senses brand new super deluxe resort on Koh Yao Noi.
