Rungis II - Volaillerie (Paris)

Continuing our adventures in Rungis. After seeing all the lovely fresh fish; our tour guide took us to the poultry hall (which also includes rabbit & lamb).

The poultry hall.

Poulet de Bresse; the most famous chickens in the world.

Ready to leave for the supermarkets.

Lamb legs.

Different types of poultry products.

Rabbits.

Pigeons and quails.

Ducks.

Whole lambs.

The best chickens on earth.

This was the amazing smacked in the middle of the poultry hall. This is where all the white jacketed food traders meet for coffee, croissants or a freshly made baguette sandwich.

The sandwich counter. Of course it would have the best hams and other meats for the most fantastic sandwiches.

A great ambiance.

It was 6:00 AM and we needed our first cup of coffee. The croissants and sandwiches looked good as well, so we could not resist. Its really what we needed to continue our journey.
