Domain Alain Chabanon (Montpeyroux, France)

One of the nice things to do while you are down in Montpeyroux at this time of the year is to go see the harvest of the vineyards. We are very lucky to be good friends of one of the best wine makers of the region; Alain Chabanon the owner of Domain Alan Chabanon.

This morning we went to visit the separation of the grapes and the fermentation process.

The tanks that Alain stores the different grapes; Grenach, Syrah, Mouvrede, Chenin blanc and Merlot.

The pumping the grape juice into the the tanks.

Alain's helpers sorting out the grapes before going into the tanks.

Right from the vineyard, the grapes are ready to be sorted out.

Professionals doing their job very well.

If you have never tried Alain Chabanon's wines; I highly recommend that you do. You will not be disappointed.
